Accessible parking in Paris
If you're a EU Parking Card holder navigating Paris, you've probably hit the same problem we have: a parking space marked “accessible” doesn't always live up to the name. Bay widths vary, kerb cuts are missing, and the closest space to the door isn't always the one you'd choose if you knew the details up front.
Close to the Door brings together community-verified parking data from across France and the rest of Europe, so you can choose a space in Paris based on what actually matters — bay width, access aisles, surface type, lighting, kerb cuts and more — before you set off.
Your Carte Mobilité Inclusion (CMI) Stationnement and the EU Parking Card are accepted at all dedicated accessible bays across Paris. Close to the Door's data on bay widths, kerb cuts, surface types and lighting lets you choose the right space before you set off. Coverage extends across France and the rest of the EU.
Parking in Paris: what to expect
Paris has the Crit'Air sticker requirement for low-emission zones, which now covers central Paris and is being expanded across Île-de-France. Disabled drivers do not pay at on-street meters when displaying a CMI Stationnement card. The 1st-4th arrondissements have narrow streets and cobbles; outer arrondissements are generally easier to access by car.
